Membership
Membership to the ZEGU Library is open to registered students, conventional and block release
and all
university staff, academic and non-academic, subject to observing the rules

Lending Services
Borrowing of library resources is reserved for ZEGU registered students and staff members. All users should produce a valid ID card to library staff.

Overdue Fines
Failure to return books on or before the due date attracts an overdue fine. Charges are as below:

Fine payments are done at the Circulation Desk.
Lost Books
Lost books are charged a non-refundable processing fee of US$5 plus replacement cost of the book.
Damaged Books
The library will evaluate the cost of repair and bill accordingly. Materials that cannot be repaired must be replaced.
Library patrons are responsible for all materials charged to their accounts.
Avoid fines by returning all library books on time
Users with outstanding fines will not be allowed to borrow books.
Other Services
Printing and photocopying Services
These are available to all library users and are on users’ expense, guided by the copyright law.
Audio and visual tapes
These are available and can be borrowed overnight only.
Library Orientation Tours
Library orientation tours are available to all new students and any other library user on request.
Electronic resources complement the physical, hard copy, collection and offer our Library clientele a solution to possible information scarcities. The Library has an array of online Databases covering multiple disciplines. Clients are currently able to use these resources for academic and research purposes from anywhere on the university network and can also download guided by the copyright law.
