Master of Science in Development Finance
Entry: The programme is aimed at several professionals, including graduates currently working in the public and/or private sector who are involved with macro, sectorial and enterprise-level finance and financial management issues in the context of developing countries and emerging markets. This also includes graduates typically working in financial institutions such as Central Banks, Commercial Banks, Non-Bank Financial Institutions, Development Finance Institutions, Government, NGOs, International Developmental Institutions and Microfinance Institutions among others. To be eligible for admission, an applicant must be:
• A holder of at least an upper second-class degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Insurance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, and any approved honours degree;
• A holder of a lower second-class degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Insurance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, and any approved honours degree plus at least two years of relevant working experience; OR
• A holder of a recognised professional Diploma, including but not limited to ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or a recognised Higher National Diploma plus a minimum of ten years post qualification experience.
