Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University (ZEGU) is a brainchild of the late founder and president of Zimbabwe Assemblies of God Africa Forward in Faith (ZAOGA F.I.F), Professor Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti, who also was the Chancellor for the University. It is a private Christian University which started in May 2012.

ZEGU is a degree-awarding institution accredited by the Zimbabwe Council of Higher Education (ZIMCHE) offering internationally recognized degrees in various faculties. As a Christian University, ZEGU creates a rare opportunity for the development of minds, hearts, and hands in the fear of God. In its endeavor to develop a total person who can bring solutions to the world, ZEGU has an academic thrust of entrepreneurial development.

The University is situated in the town of Bindura at 1901 Barrasie Road, off Shamva Road. The uniquely designed state-of-the-art infrastructure consists of four faculties namely, Arts, Commerce, Education, and Law. A fifth faculty of Agriculture will soon be added. Each faculty has an educational block comprising a library, computer laboratory, a lecture theatre, and three lecture rooms as well as a separate administration block. Like any other modern university, the libraries provide both physical books and electronic resources. The students also enjoy campus-wide access to the internet for their studies.

Vision

Inform, engage and inspire the Alumni to stay connected with each other and support the vision of ZEGU and contribute towards its success.

Objectives

• Create a WhatsApp group to make a direct communication link available for the alumni themselves and between the University and its alumni.
• To promote and foster mutually beneficial interaction between the Alumni and the present students of the university through the Alumni Desk.
• To identify and promote alumni success and achievements to advance the credibility and reputation of the University.
• To encourage the Alumni to take an active and abiding interest in the work and progress of the University.
• To maintain an alumni newsletter that encourages alumni to identify themselves with the University; to generate and sustain interest and participation in the University activities.
• To make the alumni contribute to the development of the University and the promotion of its good name and reputation, locally and internationally.
• Continuously build and nurture the university alumni network and facilitate assistance in organizing overseas alumni reunions.
• To encourage the Alumni to form its Association and to come up with their program and activities.
